Rolling Schedule

The billet and cast is tracked throughout the rolling mill. The material tracking is based on the Rolling Schedule. This is detailed rolling program that is batched into a cast or orders.

The rolling schedule provides the production instructions for each step of the rolling process. This includes

• Product – dimension, section, lengths and quality
• Cast or batch
• Number of billets to roll and weight
• Billet details and locations
• Cut length and tolerance
• Customer and special requirement
• Warehouse destination
