The Basket Tracking system is designed to make the crane driver and tug driver working together without the involvement of the scrap controller. This solution frees up the scrap controller from the minute by minute loading activity so he can spend more time on managing the scrap yard. The scrap weight is recorded by each loading level against the scrap grade and location automatically. This will update the scrap inventory level in the real time. The system also provides a series of reporting and analysis tools for the scrap consumptions. This will help the management to monitor the scrap cost effectively.
